I attended this important international event with my family. I noticed that there was no mainstream media – CBC, City, Global, CTV etc. There was no mention of the event in the newspapers the next day. I am wondering how much effort was placed to encourage media attention?

I’m not sure. I know there were at least two cameras there – one filming for the Kontakt TV program on Omni1 channel and the other for the upcoming holodmor documentary (http://www.holodomorthemovie.com).
