Other spots in the East Village include: Ukrainian Sports Club (YCK), the UAYA (CYM) building, the NTSh (Shevchenko Scientific Society), Odessa Restaurant, Surma Bookstore, Karpaty Bar. Uptown you'll find UVAN (Ukrainian Academy of Arts and Sciences), and the Ukrainian Institute of America.
