Yushchenko, Ukraine’s only president to recognize the Holodomor as genocide – bullied by the ADL not to compare with Holocaust

I tweeted about this earlier today and posted a clip from the 2009 documentary Defamation in which an Israeli-Jew discusses the politicization of the Holocaust and Anti-Semitism in modern times.

Abe Foxman the head of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), the world’s largest advocate for Israel and fighting Anti-Semitism meets with Yushchenko’s advisors and warns them not to compare the two genocides – the Holodomor and the Holocaust:

Abe Foxman (head of the ADL): But one thing that you need to be sensitive about is not to link it (the Holodomor) with the Holocaust. Be careful that it not be linked as ‘your genocide’ and ‘our genocide’, because that would be counter-productive.

Israel has still yet to recognize the Holodomor as genocide.

Still haven't changed the phrasing:)?

Yushchenko advocated recognition of the Holodomor as genocide. He did not advocate the Holodomor (mass murder) itself.

As for the ADL's appeal to strip Bandera of his honorary title, I would grant it if they met the following conditions:

1. Israel recalls its oligarchs from Ukraine (those with Israeli citizenship) and orders them to return their "hard-earned" possessions to the people of Ukraine;
2. Israel outlaws the Lehi ribbon and denounces the Lehi, Irgun and Haganah.

Maybe Foxman could "warn" all the Jewish oligarch thieves in Ukraine to stop pillaging and robbing Ukraine. Maybe Foxman could "warn" all the Jewish oligarchs in Russia to stop robbing and pillaging Russia. Maybe Foxman could warn Jewish oligarch criminal Simeon Mogilevich not to commit international crimes, and then hide out in Russia. That would go a very long way to actually implementing true democracy in Ukraine.

What an arrogant, ignorant, slimy, swine! Do Ukrainians tell the Jews how to deal with the Holocaust? So many lies have been spread about Ukrainians as part of "Holocaust" so-called educational projects and web-sites, that Foxman should go F-ck himself. When will the jewish criminal collaborators of the communist slaughter of Ukrainians be brought to justice, or even recognized? Answer: Never, if guys like Foxman have their way. While they pursue innocents like Demjanjuk, slander our whole race and nation, and continue to spread vicious lies, we should bend over and let them tell us how to commemorate the sacred memory of our innocent countrymen who suffered and died horrible deaths!!! When so many of the perpetrators of the crimes against us were jewish communists! Kiss my dick, Foxman!

I can't think of any word for Foxman's actions there other than "arrogance." What right does one person or one people have to dictate the way another nation marks its history? Foxman does, and should, respond to those who criminally deny the Holocaust happened, because that's a denial of Jewish history. But the Holodomor affected Ukrainian people. It's not the business of another people or country to dictate how Ukrainians come to terms with it or the metaphors they use to describe the Holodomor.
